About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to deliver outcomes of assigned projects and work independently on topics while setting priorities and having sole responsibility. This role involves handling complex issues in cross-functional or cross-country projects, making decisions to enhance current and future design and strategy, and enhancing complex systems or processes. The specialist will represent SAP to customers, advocate for the end user by understanding their needs and behaviors, and promote User Experience by integrating contemporary user-centered design methodologies into development efforts. The role supports both Delivery and Operation organizations by developing and providing systems, applications, products, and services to optimize business processes and improve work efficiency, while also providing expert support in operations. This includes revising and updating existing programs, providing required documentation, and facilitating the service and product lifecycle. For Delivery, the role acts as a technology expert for technical feasibility studies and solution reviews, defines or reviews technical blueprints, customizes and develops enhancements, implements solutions, and provides technical documentation. For Operation, the role acts as a cross-functional technology expert to support problem management and continuous improvement, participates in de-escalation activities, and contributes to the Build to Run engagement and the definition of technical standards and frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Administering and maintaining SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ERP, SAP PI/PO, and SAP NetWeaver Systems in cloud
• Full Cycle Implementations including sizing, installations, configuration, Go-live, maintenance and support
• Performance Analysis and Performance Monitoring of Systems in the Landscape
• Providing technical documentation
• Contributing to the definition of technical standards and frameworks
• Executing and supporting problem management and continuous improvement
• Participating in de-escalation activities
• SAP OS/DB Migration and Hyperscalers
• SAP-certified technology consultant certifications: SAP OS/DB migration; and SAP HANA.

• Advocate for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors and usage patterns.
• Promote the role of User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies and practices and integrate those into current and future development efforts.
• Support both the Delivery and Operation organizations.
• Develop and provide systems, applications, products and services to optimize or automate business processes, improve work efficiency, and provide the expert support in operations.
• Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.
• Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle.
• For Delivery, act as a technology expert to execute technical feasibility studies or solution reviews.
• Define or review technical blueprint for internal IT projects.
• Customize and develop enhancements.
• Implement the solutions and provide technical documentation.
• For Operation, act as a cross functional technology expert to execute and support problem management and continuous improvement.
• Participate in de-escalation activities.
• Contribute to the Build to Run engagement and to the definition of technical standards and frameworks.
