VVS Canteen is seeking a quality, technical minded IT Technician to work out of the home office in Cozad.

Requirements

• Required to report to the VVS Canteen Location in Cozad 8am - 5pm M-F (some weekends on an as needed basis).
• Technical Skills in Network Equipment.
• Experience in IT infrastructure and technology including IP routing, network addressing, and wireless protocols.
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and operation.
• Ability to diagnose tech issues.
• Ability to work from a ladder.
• Driving to and from work locations (travel on an as needed basis).
• Ability to be on call for telephone support.
• Self-motivated work ethic with the ability to multi-task and see projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with team members to provide fast and efficient service to VVS internal accounts as well as customer accounts.
• Work with customers to assess their Surveillance needs and forming a solution to provide for those needs.
• Programming and provisioning CCTV Camera systems and all peripherals.
• Installing networking equipment and peripherals for Cashless Point of Sale operation.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting network and camera system issues.
• Working with multiple computer programs with the ability to learn new programs.
• Assemble and program camera servers.
• Keeping track of inventory.
• Continuing education and training will always be a function of this position.
