About The Position

Axxess is a family-owned company established in 1998, specializing in customs brokerage and international freight forwarding. We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join our team. Requirements

  • College diploma in Information Technology, Computer Support, Networking, or a related field.
  • Comfortable communicating in both French and English, verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient with the Windows environment and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate curiosity towards new technologies.
  • Organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and deliver excellent user support.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting users with resolving hardware, software, authentication, and connectivity issues affecting Windows 11 workstations.
  • Diagnosing and resolving common Microsoft 365 issues, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Logging, categorizing, documenting, and following up on incidents and service requests through our IT service management platform.
  • Preparing, configuring, and deploying computers and other IT equipment.
  • Assisting with the administration of user accounts, access rights, and licenses within Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing or removing access permissions and equipment as required.
  • Verifying workstation security and compliance status and reporting any anomalies.
  • Performing initial troubleshooting of network, Wi-Fi, VPN, and Internet connectivity issues.
  • Providing basic support for VoIP phones, printers, meeting room equipment, and access control systems.
  • Assisting with the management of IT hardware and accessory inventory.
  • Reviewing, following, and updating procedures and knowledge base documentation.
  • Performing other related duties required to support the efficient operation of the department.
