About The Position

The Greenridge Group, a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in project and construction management for major public-sector agencies, is seeking an IT Technical Support I professional to support an airport development program in Los Angeles. The role provides hands-on support to staff, resolves hardware and software issues, and helps maintain efficient daily IT operations in an active airport environment. The position involves working with a collaborative team and supporting employees at various airport locations.

Requirements

Hands-on experience providing IT help desk or desktop technical support.
Strong troubleshooting skills with PCs, hardware components, and Windows operating systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.
Familiarity with network troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.
Experience with IT ticketing systems such as Freshdesk or ServiceNow.
Ability to install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. and travel between different airport work locations.
Flexibility to work different shifts when needed.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.
Relevant IT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day IT help desk support and respond to technical support requests.
Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 computers and applications.
Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, and Excel.
Track and manage IT service requests using Freshdesk, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems.
Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including computer setup and access requests.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and other network connectivity issues.
Set up and relocate IT equipment at various airport locations.
Document technical issues, communicate updates, and escalate complex problems when necessary.
Provide basic IT training and technical assistance to employees.
