About The Position

The IT Systems & Network Support is responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of the Bank's server, network, endpoint, and Microsoft 365 environments while also providing technical support to Bank employees. This position manages Windows Server administration, patching, vulnerability remediation, Active Directory, network systems, endpoint devices, and branch technology while assisting with cybersecurity and regulatory compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong systems and network administration experience, disciplined patch and vulnerability management skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and experience supporting Microsoft-based environments in a regulated business environment.

Requirements

  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows 11 and Windows Server environments.
  • Hands-on experience administering Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, wireless networking, and switch configuration.
  • Experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, endpoint management, and server maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, servers, network equipment, and peripheral issues.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience supporting financial institutions or other regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting virtual desktop environments.
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years of systems administration, network administration, patch management, vulnerability remediation, or related IT support experience.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to install and relocate workstations, monitors, printers, servers, and network equipment.
  • Ability to travel between Bank locations as required.
  • Ability to respond to critical issues, maintenance windows, and patching activities outside standard business hours.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial, system, and customer data.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for employees across all Bank locations.
  • Document and track incidents, system changes, patching activity, and remediation work using approved systems.
  • Install and troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, telecommunications, server, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with employee onboarding, offboarding, workstation deployments, and access changes.
  • Prioritize and escalate issues based on business impact, security risk, and operational urgency.
  • Administer Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, and hosted infrastructure environments.
  • Maintain Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID user accounts, permissions, groups, Group Policy, and related controls.
  • Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and SharePoint.
  • Perform operating system and application patching using approved management tools and established change control procedures.
  • Assist with disaster recovery testing, backup validation, and business continuity activities.
  • Support hybrid/on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Configure, monitor, and support network equipment including switches, wireless access points, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
  • Maintain network documentation, diagrams, IP address records, configuration details, and inventory records.
  • Assist with branch technology installations, network upgrades, circuit turnups, and equipment replacements.
  • Support telecommunications, voice systems, connectivity, and vendor coordination.
  • Participate in IT audits, regulatory examinations, risk assessments, and evidence collection.
  • Ensure compliance with Bank policies, security standards, patching standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review vulnerability findings, coordinate remediation efforts, validate fixes, and document exceptions or risk-based decisions.
