About The Position

The University of Louisville is seeking an IT Systems Analyst IV (IT Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts Support Analyst). This role involves partnering with customers to analyze, design, test, implement, and maintain Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts solutions. The analyst will provide project support to relevant business areas, conduct advanced analysis of business data, and offer detailed solutions. Support will be provided to Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts/Procurement staff regarding Workday-related issues, mission, vision, policies, and resource allocation. The position also involves collaborating with others to interpret and manage business reports and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement recommended changes. This is a full-time position, and remote applicants are welcome.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and six (6) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide design, configuration, and troubleshooting services (functional and technical) for Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts solution.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, unexpected results and process flaws including coordinating with Workday using their case management system.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (including Workflow/security).
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders to build reporting (basic and advance calc fields/all reporting types).
  • Assist in researching new capabilities within Workday.
  • Support regression testing and introduction of required changes as new Workday releases are introduced.
  • Assist in the design and configuration of new Workday enhancements as they are made available with each new release.
  • Develop expertise in the departmental use of Workday Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts and serve as the point of contact for end users on proposed process and application changes.
  • Consult with customers to conduct analysis on Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts business processes to help identify needs and facilitate finding solutions to those needs.
  • Proactively identify customer strength and weaknesses and suggest areas of business process improvement.
  • Propose solutions to Grants & Customer Accounts/Contracts problems and consider timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing customer needs.
  • Identify potential process improvements through data analysis that identifies inefficiencies, redundancy, and unleveraged system functionality.
  • Coordinate the testing of maintenance and new functionality with business units.
  • Prepare detailed systems documentation.
  • Collaborate with business intelligence staff to ensure that reporting needs are included in system design and assist with the development and review of new reports and dashboards.
  • Continuously increase technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, voting, training, webinars, etc.
