About The Position

The Systems Analyst performs technical work analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate clinical functions or improve existing information technology systems. The role develops the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), ancillary applications, and inter-related systems to meet user and regulatory standards and system needs. The analyst designs and builds within assigned applications or systems to support providers, staff, and patients, while helping ensure security and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma and four years of relevant experience, or an associate's degree and two years of relevant experience, in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• Technical proficiency and appropriate pre-employment screening.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree.
• Prior experience in a relevant health care, teaching, or training/adult learning field, especially training Epic.
• Prior implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate clinical functions or improve information technology systems.
• Design, build, and install upgrades or new implementations for assigned applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and determine appropriate resolutions.
• Perform required maintenance tasks for assigned applications.
• Review and test changes in newly released software to ensure system integrity.
• Maintain documentation reflecting the current system state and configurations.
• Prepare detailed programming and integration specifications as required.
• Meet project deadlines.
• Communicate progress and potential risks effectively to leadership and customers.
