About The Position

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join their team in Fairfield County, OH. ISBH is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization dedicated to helping individuals on their road to health and well-being. They serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, collaborating with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for a variety of complex information systems administration functions, including installing, configuring, and supporting complex operating and server-based systems, and monitoring and maintaining ISBH's technology systems.

Requirements

  • A high school degree or GED equivalent is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in science in Computer Information Systems or a related field is required.
  • 5-6 years of experience in the IT field, maintaining a complex IT infrastructure environment is required.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a Healthcare IT environment is required.
  • Experience with servers, networking, telecommunications, and the principles of building and maintaining a complex IT infrastructure is required.
  • Advanced communication skills, both oral and written is required.
  • Advanced organizational skills are required.
  • Proficiency with MS Server, MSSQL, Active Directory, O365, SonicWall Firewalls, Network Routing, Shortel/Mitel Telecommunications System, VMware , and Wireless Networking is required.
  • Ability to clearly and present both technical and non-technical information effectively with peers and other levels of management is required.
  • Advanced Skills in working with complex IT environments, including both physical and virtual components, are required.
  • Skills in networking, routing, and firewall protocols are required.
  • Skills in telecommunication components, including various phone systems, VOIP, SIP, PRI, and the interplay between telecommunications and networks in a converged environment, are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to analyze situational information and formulate a solution to technically challenging situations.
  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to independently research complex technical issues and formulate viable solutions as needed to perform high-level technical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to independently study and learn the functions of new and updated hardware and software components to develop the necessary expertise.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle are required.
  • An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required.
  • Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required.
  • The ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required.
  • The ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of healthcare IT in a community health center setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery, Cyber Security Incident Response, Systems Monitoring/Alerting, IT Backup/Recovery, and Firewall Rules is preferred.
  • Skills in effective backup and recovery strategies for a complex IT environment are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, databases, virtual resources, network resources, telecommunication resources, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups and integrity checks.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Windows Server systems, AD, DHCP, DNS, NTP, Active Directory, GPO, VMware, Shortel/Mitel, SonicWall, and other core infrastructure components in an enterprise environment.
  • Maintain virtual environment (Hyper-V and VMware), including underlying host server hardware, and virtual machines, and ensure optimal operation of the virtual environment.
  • Maintain, monitor, test, and ensure smooth and consistent operations of the necessary backup environments to keep the organization’s data resources properly backed up and protected.
  • Test, deploy, and monitor the necessary Windows updates, security patches, and OS deployments across the infrastructure to ensure endpoints and servers stay up to date in terms of these patches/updates.
  • Responds to and acts as tier III to help resolve technically complex or challenging help desk tickets.
  • Configures monitors and maintains the network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless network components.
  • Provides support and guidance to help desk support team members as necessary.
  • Creates, edits, and maintains all necessary infrastructure documentation, including but not limited to server inventory, network diagram, IT Disaster Recovery Plan, Cyber Security Incident Response Plan, scheduled job logs, etc.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains the necessary monitoring and alerting system to ensure that all applicable components of the production infrastructure are properly monitored and that all the required alerts are in place and functional.
  • Travel within the designated service area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
