About The Position

The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing implementation assistance and ongoing support of Infrastructure Systems. The Systems Administrator is expected to contribute to the IT architecture foundation by maintaining principles, best practices, guidelines, and standards as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. An additional two (2) years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Four (4) years direct experience working as a Systems Administrator within a comparable-sized property.
  • In-depth knowledge of server, networking, and middleware: Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux Server operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Experience with Active Directory & Domain architecture, NTFS permissions, DFS Architecture, Access Based Enumeration and DNS.
  • Experience with Network security.
  • Experience with network design, switching, multi VLAN environments (Aruba and Cisco).
  • Experience with managing enterprise SAN and NAS environments.
  • Experience managing virtualization including VMware ESXi and VSphere environments.
  • Experience with enterprise wireless deployment and administration.
  • Experience with writing and modifying scripts.
  • Experience with enterprise antivirus and patch management.
  • Strong ability to manage IT standards, systems, and procedures efficiently, ensuring optimal organization and workflow.
  • Exceptional ability to maintain accurate and clear documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate system configurations and requirements to vendors, ensuring alignment and proper support.
  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates excellent self-management skills, managing tasks and priorities independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable navigating conflicting viewpoints, facilitating discussions, and achieving consensus to move projects forward.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering cooperation and ensuring smooth collaboration.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier II & III support for server and application systems, ensuring smooth operation for users and prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Monitor and maintain the Casino, Hotel and Gaming environments, making necessary changes to optimize performance.
  • Administer, configure, and support Windows and Linux servers in a dynamic environment, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Manage and coordinate large-scale projects, working with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel Infrastructure systems, including: Installation, configuration, and support of server and network hardware. Implementation and maintenance of enterprise wireless systems. Monitoring and automation of hardware and application systems. Configuration of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and File Servers. Systems and security patching. SAN/NAS storage management. Virtualization administration, configuration and management Enterprise backup systems management. Security management, including virus protection, NAC, and certificate management.
  • Maintain current documentation on infrastructure systems, configurations, and processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and provide exceptional customer service to both Team Members and clients.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and enhance technical skills as required by evolving business needs.
  • Participate in rotating on-call duties to provide after-hours support and resolve any system issues that arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of IT infrastructure operations.
