IT Systems Administrator

EaseIrvine, CA

About The Position

Ease is looking for an IT Systems Administrator to keep our people, tools, and infrastructure running smoothly. This is a hands-on role at the center of how Ease operates — you will be the first point of contact for employee IT needs and the person who makes sure our SaaS environment, user accounts, and internal systems are well-managed and properly maintained. You are comfortable working across a range of tools and requests, from provisioning new accounts and managing software licenses to configuring integrations and supporting our office environment. You are organized, reliable, and able to balance a steady queue of day-to-day work with the occasional deeper project that comes your way.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support, systems administration, or helpdesk role.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience managing user accounts and groups in a cloud directory platform such as JumpCloud, Okta, or Azure Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with SaaS license management and vendor administration across a multi-tool environment.
  • Ability to manage a ticket queue with a mix of priorities, communicate clearly with employees at all levels, and close requests thoroughly.
  • Strong attention to detail when managing access, permissions, and documentation.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where requests are varied and priorities can shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Slack administration, including workspace settings, channel management, and SSO integration.
  • Experience configuring SSO for SaaS applications using SAML or OIDC.
  • Familiarity with DNS records, email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and basic email deliverability concepts.
  • Experience using a formal ITSM or ticketing platform such as Jira Service Management or Zendesk.
  • Exposure to IT security basics, including familiarity with concepts like SOC 2, third-party risk, and employee security training programs.
  • Experience supporting Mac hardware in a business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage user accounts and access. Own the provisioning and deprovisioning lifecycle for all employees and contractors, including account creation, SaaS access, and SysAdmin setup across our internal and customer-facing platforms.
  • Keep our software stack healthy and accountable. Maintain our managed software catalog, track and reconcile licenses, evaluate new tool requests, and ensure our vendors are properly onboarded and documented.
  • Own the helpdesk queue. Triage and resolve IT support requests across email, Slack, and our IT ticketing system. Requests range from Outlook issues and hardware setup to MFA resets and application access.
  • Administer our communication platforms. Manage Microsoft 365 mailboxes, aliases, and routing; administer Slack workspaces including channels and permissions; and handle email deliverability configurations such as DNS records and CNAME entries.
  • Support our identity and SSO infrastructure. Work within JumpCloud to manage users, groups, and basic SSO configurations for internal applications and customer-facing setups, with escalation to senior IT staff for complex scenarios.
  • Maintain the office environment. Support conference room AV and Zoom Rooms, coordinate hardware procurement and equipment tracking, and handle on-site IT needs at our Irvine headquarters.
  • Assist with compliance and security basics. Help gather evidence for security audits, manage employee security awareness training completions, and support IT intake for vendor assessments and tool approvals.
