About the position
Brinqa is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization's computer systems. The role involves supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer servers and networks, as well as implementing and managing system-level administration for MacOS and Linux workstations and servers. The ideal candidate should have experience in fleet management of MacOS, administration of IdP solutions, and maintaining asset inventory. Strong documentation skills, knowledge of information security best practices, and excellent communication skills are also required. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, and support system-level administration for MacOS and Linux workstations and servers
- Research, test, and recommend IT solutions for systems management and desktop support
- Scripting, imaging process, patch management, software deployment, licensing management, group policies, data backup, account management, inventory management, and IT security compliance
- Install, support, and maintain virtual machines
- Administer corporate IdP systems including configuration, onboarding/off-boarding, application assignments, auditing, and user assistance
- Oversee administration of Atlassian Cloud suite of products (Jira, Confluence, ServiceDesk)
- Follow industry best practices for server, cloud, system, and device security
- Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and provide end user support for MacOS equipment
- Assist with implementation, operation, and administration of on-site office network
- Maintain and update detailed documentation of processes, topologies, and system configurations
- Manage, lead, and participate in projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Science or equivalent
- 4+ years of professional fleet management experience of MacOS through enterprise-level tools
- Experience with administration of IdP solutions
- Experience with GSuite or Google Workspace administration
- Experience maintaining up-to-date asset inventory of IT equipment and software
- Process-oriented with excellent documentation skills
- Core understanding of information security best practices and networking fundamentals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent
- 4+ years of professional, business/enterprise fleet management experience of MacOS through enterprise-level tools such as JAMF, Mosyle, Kandji, ManageEngine including script and policy management
- Experience working on the administration side of an IdP solutions such as Okta, OneLogin, or Ping Identity
- Experience administering GSuite or Google Workspace
- Experience maintaining up to date asset inventory of IT equipment and software
- Process-oriented with excellent documentation skills. Commitment to writing and maintaining technical operational documentation and customer knowledge base
- Core understanding of information security best practices and networking fundamentals
- Excellent communication and customer service with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
