About The Position

The IT System Administrator is responsible for provisioning, installing, and configuring hardware and software across Axium Foods’ infrastructure. The role supports Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft Business Central, and other systems that support the company’s infrastructure. It is based on-site Monday through Friday, with availability to provide technical support as needed in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, and may provide limited remote support to manufacturing locations.

Requirements

Five years of IT experience.
Experience in a production environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and its admin portal.
Experience as an IT Supervisor or relevant management experience.
Ability to work with team members who have varying levels of technology experience.
Excellent professional communication skills when working with internal and external entities.
Ability to work flexible hours.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management.
Experience working with Microsoft Business Central.

Responsibilities

Maintain network hardware and equipment, including servers, routers, WiFi access points, and firewalls.
Install or rebuild servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, and settings in accordance with standards and requirements.
Help ensure the technology infrastructure is secure, data is backed up, and a business continuity plan is in place.
Work with staff to incorporate technology applications into the operational infrastructure.
Monitor systems daily, verify hardware and resource availability and integrity, review system and application logs, and confirm scheduled jobs such as backups are completed.
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.
Conduct regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions.
Serve as liaison between Axium and IT vendors.
Create, change, and delete Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and card-access user accounts in response to authorized requests.
Assist the IT Director in recommending technology improvements for Axium, CK, and Keystone.
Assist in overseeing the VoIP phone system.
Provide limited remote support to manufacturing locations.
Support company AI usage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
