TENICA is looking to hire an IT System Administrator to perform O&M functions needed to sustain or restore hardware, software and network services. This role involves establishing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules, serving as the focal point for user requirements, and managing network email services. The administrator will create user accounts, perform system diagnostics, and provide specialized support for various events. A key responsibility includes drafting, coordinating, and implementing configuration management and security policies for various operating systems and applications. The role also involves preparing procurement packages for hardware and software, and supporting network activities to ensure a robust environment for software developers. The Systems Administrators will be responsible for a variety of activities including auditing, configuration management, customer support, data storage and backups, event logs, firewall management, hardware recap/upgrade/installs, OS baseline imaging, information assurance, JDC Theater management, office moves, printer maintenance and support, equipment procurement, security coordination, server builds and maintenance, switch maintenance, transition of non-development workstations to the NRO enterprise (COMM), and Virtualization.
