About The Position

This role will be hands-on IT support and procurement, focusing on IT related tasks to help the studio improve its ability to deliver a world-class experience. The purpose of this team is to bring "games that make you think" to the market, primarily through the Age of Empires franchise. This role will contribute to technical support to ensure PCs and Azure-based services are running efficiently. The ideal candidate will be someone who has an well-written resume. Candidates with a disorganized resume that does not flow and is difficult to read will be rejected by the sponsor. We are a passionate team responsible for titles loved by players all over the world.

Requirements

3+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 2 years in a procurement position.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft services such as Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps.
Minimum 3 years experience with Microsoft services such as Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps.
Minimum 3 years experience with a tech background, able to help with tech issues.
Minimum 3 years experience with strong documentation skills.
Minimum 3 years experience with scripting language experience (Python, C#, or PowerShell).

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a game development studio is welcome but not required.
Scripting language experience (Python, C#, or PowerShell) is a plus.
Experience in supporting multiple OSes is a bonus.
IT degree is nice to have.
Experience having worked with a gaming team before.
Ability to write different scripting using Python.

Responsibilities

Work closely with Studio Management, various Directors and Leads to understand and act upon the studio's IT related needs.
Perform PC Hardware procurement, setup, and recycling.
Field requests for information technology services, repairs, upgrades, support, inquiries, or complaints.
Manage PC and parts inventory for the studio.
Handle user account management.
Provide IT support internally and externally to partner teams involved in game creation.
Work with the larger IT teams to engage on best practices and working through technical concerns.
Contribute to Technical support to ensure PCs and Azure-based services are running efficiently.
Handle account administration, project work, and break fixes.
Work on lab machines for automated testing.
