Reporting to the Director, IT Operations, the incumbent provides technical support for workstations and meeting rooms (Microsoft Teams Rooms), while coordinating the group’s activities across multiple locations (Montreal, Toronto, Halifax, Vancouver). This person ensures a simple, efficient, and seamless user experience, while contributing to the evolution of digital productivity tools and practices.

Requirements

  • DEC or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or any other related discipline or combination of equivalent and relevant experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent mastery of French and English, both spoken and written, at the CBC level.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a multi-site environment (a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support by ensuring prompt and effective assistance to users.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of workstations to ensure a seamless and standardized user experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of support quality and services.
  • Maintain equipment (Crestron, audio/video) at an optimal level.
  • Schedule technical interventions while minimizing the impact on users.
  • Actively participate in operations while maintaining a holistic view of the department.
  • Ensure the quality of service and user satisfaction.
  • Maintain clear communication between suppliers and internal teams.
  • Monitor technological developments related to Microsoft 365 productivity tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ensure an optimal user experience by minimizing disruptions.
  • Actively participate in support activities (hands-on role).
