IT Support Technician Intern (Year-Round)

About The Position

Gain hands-on experience providing technical support by setting up new computers, configuring handheld scanners and printers, and resolving employee technology issues through our ticketing system. This is a year-round internship program with a part-time schedule (15-20 hours/week) during the academic year and a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) during the summer. The internship is located in Mequon, WI, and is designed to provide meaningful projects, mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Ability to succeed in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide end-user IT support, including software installation and hardware set-up and delivery within our ticketing system.
Configure handheld scanners and printers.
Resolve employee technology issues through our ticketing system.
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
Document and improve processes.
