The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining company devices and related hardware and software. This role involves maintaining knowledge of computer and network security systems, identifying and resolving system malfunctions, and contributing to the reliable operation of computer hardware, operating systems, network servers, and virtualization infrastructure. The specialist will also oversee vendor relationships, manage IT asset inventory, and serve as the primary liaison with HR for employee onboarding and offboarding technology needs. This includes ensuring technology is delivered to new hires before their start date, managing PC wipes and data recovery for terminations, and setting up technology for job sites. The role also involves providing remote technical support, answering user queries, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues, repairing hardware, installing anti-virus software, and performing tests on new software and hardware. Additionally, the IT Support Specialist will establish good relationships with all departments, manage technical documentation, and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office & Teams. Occasional travel to jobsites is required.
