The IT Support Specialist is the first point of contact for technology issues across offices and the manufacturing floor. The role keeps employees productive by resolving hardware, software, network, and account problems and maintaining systems that support production. Working closely with the IT team and plant operations, the specialist installs and maintains equipment, manages user access, documents fixes, and helps roll out new tools. The ideal candidate is a patient problem-solver who communicates clearly with technical and non-technical staff. The position includes setting up laptops and related equipment; providing deskside support for printers, Teams Rooms, and other peripherals; troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications; and assisting with SQL Server queries, data retrieval, reporting, and data discrepancy troubleshooting. The specialist also escalates issues when appropriate, contributes to SOPs and troubleshooting documentation, and identifies recurring issues and process improvements. The role offers hands-on experience with hardware, software, and office technology; exposure to SQL Server, business data, and reporting workflows; mentorship from experienced IT and data professionals; and development of technical, analytical, and customer service skills. Work takes place in a standard office environment with moderate noise and routine interruptions, with occasional time on the manufacturing floor. The position requires standard business hours, with flexibility during production or supply disruptions and occasional extended hours during peak HR cycles. Production-area visits require compliance with safety and PPE requirements.
