About The Position

As our IT Support Specialist, you will handle more complex IT support requests, responding with a customer-first mindset and resolving issues quickly and effectively the first time. You will diagnose hardware and software problems, deploy and install new equipment, manage user accounts and permissions, and document solutions within our IT Service Management system. You will work closely with our Systems, Network, and Security teams to help maintain a reliable and secure technology environment by supporting endpoint devices, applying software updates and security patches, managing hardware inventory, and assisting with network connectivity and system administration.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting Windows-based desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and common business applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, user account administration, and endpoint management.
  • Experience with Entra ID/Azure AD and Intune.
  • Experience with ticketing or IT Service Management Systems.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, printers, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
  • The ability to occasionally travel as needed (up to 5% of the time).
  • A 2-year degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.

Nice To Haves

  • A 4-year degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation training.
  • Knowledge of VMWare or other virtualization technologies.
