Responsible for the smooth day-to-day functioning of communications, enterprise applications, and critical business applications for employees in local and remote offices. This role involves advanced troubleshooting of equipment and daily maintenance in surfacing and finishing departments, ensuring the smooth operation of existing networks, providing helpdesk support to internal users across Canada, and liaising with external suppliers/vendors. The specialist will also maintain expert knowledge of the Enterprise system (DVI), provide Subject Matter expertise, and be responsible for routine reporting. Continuous professional self-development and knowledge sharing are key aspects of this role, as is maintaining an ongoing development of the IT knowledge base.
