We are excited to announce the opening of our new Technology headquarters in Mesa, Arizona in 2025. This expansion reflects our commitment to growth and innovation in the climate solutions industry. As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site IT Support Technician to join the team. Reporting to the IT Support Manager, this position will provide advanced technical support by diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software issues, requiring a deeper understanding of systems and applications, often involving in-depth troubleshooting, remote access, and coordination with other IT teams to ensure timely problem resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT or Help Desk support
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, network infrastructure, common applications, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly explain technical concepts to users and collaborate with other IT teams
  • Provide a positive user experience and customer service focus by resolving issues efficiently and professionally
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, including network connectivity problems, application malfunctions, server configuration issues, and advanced hardware failures
  • Utilize remote access tools to troubleshoot issues on users' devices and systems
  • Manage escalated tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps, and updating ticket status with clear communication
  • Clearly explain technical concepts to users of varying technical abilities and provide appropriate solutions
  • Ensure processes and equipment adhere to safety regulations and industry standards
  • Identify when an issue requires further escalation and provide necessary details for seamless transition
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base by documenting solutions to complex problems encountered
  • Perform basic system administration tasks like user account management, permissions updates, and software patching
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they impact users
