In this temporary assignment, you serve as a reliable point of contact for users needing swift IT support, ensuring systems operate smoothly. You troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues through various communication channels, using strong diagnostic skills for quick resolution. You document support requests and solutions accurately and create user guides to minimize recurring issues. Additionally, you provide user training and collaborate with the IT team on complex challenges. You also maintain system health by applying updates, performing routine maintenance, and tracking inventory for efficient operations.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or associate degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience in a help desk or technical support role, with a strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software problems
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with users of varying technical backgrounds
  • A patient and customer-focused approach, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening test

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA and Microsoft, are preferred
  • Familiarity with tools like Lansweeper, Zabbix, and Splunk is a plus
