About The Position

This position provides onsite technical support to employees across our manufacturing and corporate operations. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, helping people, and learning new technologies. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience with enterprise infrastructure, manufacturing systems, Microsoft technologies, networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity while supporting approximately 150+ users.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT Help Desk or Desktop Support experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience installing computer hardware and peripherals
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments
  • Active Directory administration, Microsoft Entra ID
  • Experience with virtualization
  • Experience with ERP systems

  • Experience supporting manufacturing users and production equipment
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners and industrial printers

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, walk-up requests, and email support requests.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 workstations.
  • Create and manage user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Configure email, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office applications.
  • Diagnose hardware failures and coordinate warranty repairs when necessary.
  • Deploy new computers using standard imaging and deployment procedures.
  • Install software and maintain software licensing compliance.
  • Troubleshoot wired and wireless network connectivity issues.
  • Support conference room technology including Teams meeting equipment.
  • Assist with printer setup, barcode scanners, label printers, and manufacturing workstations.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and technology assets.
  • Document solutions and maintain IT knowledge base articles.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when appropriate.
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance on an occasional basis.
