Requirements

  • A university degree or college diploma in computer science or information technology with up to 2 years of IT support experience.
  • Education or experience must demonstrate the ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of clinical trials, management of cloud infrastructure, and VMware experience are of benefit to the position.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve various technical support tickets submitted through the ServiceNow Helpdesk portal for operations; perform task in a timely manner in an effort to ensure all Everest employees are able to work efficiently.
  • Configure and deploy laptops to Everest employees.
  • Provide access administration for Windows/Unix/secure File Transfer Protocol (sFTP) user accounts and permissions.
  • Perform patch management: ensure that all critical security, system patches, and service packs have been applied.
  • Perform log management and review: periodic review of system and backup logs.
  • Perform asset and inventory management.
  • Maintain various office equipment, such as printers, fax machines, and photocopiers, to minimize any delay of production.
  • Develop various software/hardware installation and procedural documents for Information Technology department reference.
  • Conduct Information Technology research and development to constantly improve the Information Technology standard within Everest.
