About The Position

EnTech Engineering, PC is hiring an IT Support Specialist based in New York’s Capital Region to support a public-sector client in Albany and contribute to the firm’s managed-services support operation. The role begins with hands-on work migrating a client agency to a new Microsoft 365 tenant and retiring its on-premises server infrastructure. After that phase, the role shifts toward remote support for EnTech’s client base, while continuing to provide on-site coverage in Albany as needed. The specialist will support workstation migration and validation, provide on-site assistance during cutovers, inventory and decommission equipment, and help users adapt to changes. Ongoing work includes on-call on-site support for the Albany client, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint security and patching, documentation, and remote ticket handling across EnTech’s client base. This is a full-time, hybrid position with regular on-site presence at Albany offices.
