About the position
This role is responsible for providing day-to-day IT support and assistance to the team at Overtime. Working closely with the Senior Director of Operations and Technology, the main tasks include onboarding new hires, managing equipment inventory, troubleshooting IT issues, and maintaining software accounts. The role also involves managing relationships with vendors, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment, and supporting the transition of teammates from remote work to the office. Additionally, the position requires flexibility, creativity, and the ability to contribute new ideas for improving IT operations and internal communication.
Responsibilities
- Connect with everyone at OT - support onboarding and equipment setup for new hires, manage various requests from existing teammates and share updates with the entire team year-round
- Troubleshoot day-to-day staff IT, access and equipment issues in-person and remotely in a friendly, positive, and time-sensitive manner
- Help educate staff on equipment upkeep and best practices to improve long-term performance
- Conduct periodic reviews of software and technology services to minimize major incidents and maintain a log of known issues and solutions
- Assist in managing relationships with vendors and own inventory of supplies, ensuring we have available stock of the right equipment to support existing staff and new hires
- Maintain all OT software accounts for all departments, issuing and revoking credentials, tracking who has access to what, and owning billing and cost management
- Assist in setting up new hires with email credentials, Slack, and other necessary licenses or software packages, working directly with new hires on their Day 1 to ensure a seamless transition to Overtime
- Support the Operations and Tech teams with office layout and desk setup for teammates transitioning back to the office after working remotely
- Demonstrate and foster a collaborative team approach and interact well with all functions and management providing consultation and expert advice
- Stay flexible and creative - everyone on the OT Operations team manages a wide range of projects. This role may include developing an internal staff directory for employee resources, managing the implementation or transition to new tech vendors, and other tasks as needed.
- 10% of your job includes pitching new ideas related to improving IT operations, internal communication, and other relevant areas.
Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in IT operations or related role preferred
- Expert level knowledge of Apple products and Mac OS required
- Proficiency in various technology and software tools, including Google Business Accounts, Microsoft Office applications, document storage, and video-conferencing software
