About The Position

The team at Advanced Space is leading humanity back to the Moon and pioneering innovative solutions in the space industry. Based in Westminster, Colorado, this incredible team is looking for a temporary IT Support Engineer to join our corporate IT team. The IT Support Engineer will provide helpdesk and desktop support for amazing team. They will be diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring that the organization's hardware, software, and network systems run smoothly. They serve as the first line of defense when technology problems arise, providing assistance to end users while also maintaining and improving the overall IT infrastructure. Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or related field.
  • Stays current with emerging developments in IT technologies and security tools through training and research.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Owns assigned tasks from start to completion, ensuring quality and accuracy of IT documentation and compliance records.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Easily adapts to evolving IT requirements and priorities while maintaining focus on delivering quality support.
  • Applicants must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or permanent resident/green card holder).
  • Must be able to work in-person at our Westminster, CO office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize incoming support requests through a ticketing system while accommodating walk-up requests, ensuring timely resolution for all users whether assisting them hands-on in person or remotely via screenshare.
  • Balance a varied workload by effectively managing time across multiple open tickets, maintaining clear communication with users throughout the resolution process to minimize disruption to their day-to-day work.
  • Installs, configures, and images company laptops using established imaging procedures.
  • Manages and supports basic user account and group management tasks (password resets, access requests) within Entra ID per established procedures.
  • Troubleshoots basic connectivity issues for end users and escalates complex network problems.
  • Supports VPN configuration, setup, and troubleshooting for remote users.
  • Enforces endpoint security configurations per established hardening standards.
  • Identifies phishing, malware, and social engineering threats.
  • Assists with Microsoft InTune device compliance and basic policy management.
  • Supports basic data reporting and user file recovery tasks.
  • Understands SLA expectations and escalates tickets appropriately to System Administrators.
  • Supports Teams Room AV equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.
