About The Position

The IT Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day technology needs of the Company. This position assists employees with computers, software, phones, printers, user accounts, internet connectivity, and other technology-related issues. The IT Support Coordinator also works with outside IT vendors when additional technical assistance is needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous computer, technical support, or hands-on technology experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computers, software, email, printers, internet connectivity, and mobile devices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot common technology problems.
  • Ability to learn new software and technology.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize technology issues.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple active jobs simultaneously.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to coordinate across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic computer and technology support to employees.
  • Set up computers, monitors, printers, phones, and other technology equipment.
  • Troubleshoot basic computer, software, printer, email, internet, and telephone problems.
  • Create and maintain employee email and system accounts as authorized.
  • Assist with password resets and multi-factor authentication.
  • Set up technology and system access for new employees.
  • Disable system access and collect company technology equipment when employees leave the Company.
  • Install approved software and routine system updates.
  • Maintain an inventory of computers, phones, tablets, printers, and other technology equipment.
  • Keep track of equipment assigned to employees.
  • Assist with basic network and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Support company telephone and voicemail systems.
  • Assist employees with company-approved software and applications.
  • Help maintain antivirus, cybersecurity, and other basic security protections.
  • Report suspected phishing, malware, unauthorized access, or other cybersecurity concerns to management.
  • Coordinate repairs and technical support with outside IT, telephone, internet, software, and equipment vendors.
  • Assist with purchasing replacement technology equipment when approved by management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of passwords, company information, employee information, and other sensitive data.
  • Maintain basic documentation regarding technology equipment, accounts, vendors, and procedures.
  • Perform other technology-related duties as assigned.
  • Ensure adherence to company procedures, IICRC standards, and insurance guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
  • Support internal audits, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
