About The Position

The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America’s largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Our Canadian Operating companies are Westcan Bulk Transport, RTL Construction, Les Distributions Carl Beaulac, and Fisher Transport – KAG Canada! The IT Support Analyst is responsible for front-line support and troubleshooting of issues including initial support for desktops, notebooks, phones, software applications, networks, and printing.

Requirements

Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Requires related industry certificates and/or a tech school diploma
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to work independently

Responsibilities

4x10 shifts with some flexibility on start times: 4x10HR – M,Tu,Th,F
End user support for desktops and notebooks, phones (mobile & Microsoft Teams phones), software applications, networking, and printing
Record and document all issues in the IT service desk (Alloy Navigator), and create end user self-service ‘solutions’ for re-occurring issues
Diagnose and repair desktop and notebook pc hardware
Maintain and develop desktop and notebook images with Endpoint Central
Maintain the IT asset inventory, ensuring all movements of IT equipment are noted
Maintain, diagnose, and trouble-shoot shop diagnostic notebooks, ensuring all PPE (safety glasses & reflective vests) are worn when in truck shops or yards
Maintain an accurate list of shop diagnostic notebooks, adapters, and software licenses for Premium Tech Tool, Cummins Insite, Paccar Davies Tools, Meritor Wabco
Work with other IT team members to diagnose and document system reliability or performance issues
Update the IT team with projects, new/ongoing issues, and related IT trends
On-call support scheduled and shared with other members of the IT team
Occasional travel to KAG Canada sites across Canada for onsite work
Other duties as required.
