About The Position

Northland Properties Corporation (NPC) is seeking an IT - Support Analyst 1 for their Support Centre in Vancouver, BC. This is a full-time, onsite position. The role involves providing support for customer requests, analyzing problems, and escalating issues when necessary. The analyst will communicate technical information to non-technical users, troubleshoot desktop and printer hardware and software issues, and install, configure, and test new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software. Additionally, the role includes troubleshooting LAN/WAN and connectivity issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the resolution of issues related to desktop, applications, or network systems in a Windows environment OR a university degree or diploma in computer science recent graduate
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong written documentation and note-taking skills
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN Connectivity, Wireless Networking
  • Vancouver based
  • This is an onsite position

Responsibilities
