IT Support Administrator
About The Position
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join our Information Services team as an IT Support Administrator in Pullman, WA. A typical day as an IT Support Administrator might include: Manage incoming customer requests, resolve basic issues, and escalate as needed while providing excellent customer service. Maintain IT Asset Management system, update records, and assist with audits. Purchase supplies, materials and IS related equipment consistent with quality and delivery expectations. Maintain stock items and reconcile inventory levels for IS materials. Work independently to manage small projects and assist with large cross-divisional projects as assigned. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Requirements
- Have an associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Are tech savvy and well informed about modern technology
- Have two years of excellent customer service experience
- Have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Are able to work cooperatively in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience in a help desk setting or other technical role
- Asset management experience
