About The Position
The IT Intern supports the Information Technology department through rotations across Helpdesk, Business Intelligence, and ConnectWise Support. The role provides hands-on experience supporting IT operations while delivering lasting business value through technical projects, documentation, and an employee laptop refurbishment and resale program.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity, or related field (rising senior preferred).
- Strong technical aptitude and desire to learn.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, Power BI, or scripting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier-1 helpdesk support, endpoint imaging, deployment, and asset inventory management.
- Assist with Business Intelligence reports, dashboard QA, data cleanup, and ad hoc analysis.
- Support ConnectWise workflow testing, configuration, documentation, and process improvements.
- Refurbish retired laptops through secure data sanitization, imaging, testing, grading, and asset tagging.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the employee laptop resale portal and payroll reporting workflow.
- Create knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, HR, Payroll, Finance, and Security.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
