About The Position

The Student Co-Op will be part of the IT team and will assist with everyday requests and small projects. They will be given the opportunity to learn real world IT processes, concepts and technologies. They will assist with new workstation setups, Windows 11 upgrades, cyber security phishing remediation, assist in managing SharePoint sites and other various activities.

Requirements

Actively participating in a high school or college Systems Administration, Networking or Cyber Security program.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Ability and willingness to learn new technologies.
Communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Operating System experience.
Basic understanding of System Administration, Networking and Cyber Security concepts

Responsibilities

Setup and deploy new desktops and laptops using standard processes.
Upgrade existing Windows 10 workstations to Windows 11
Mange and execute phishing e-mail remediation process
Assist in setting up and managing SharePoint sites
Troubleshoot and resolve problems with system configurations and hardware.
Provide technical support and maintenance of I.T. systems.
Maintain and manage asset lists and documentation.
Work independently as well as collaboratively with other IT staff and business functions
Interact and communicate with all levels of employees within the Company.
Comply with policies, procedures, standards, and rules of the Company.
Maintain quality assurance policy consistent with ISO standards.
Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
