About The Position

Browns is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious IT Strategy Business Analyst who's not afraid of a challenge, who's passionate about innovation and new technologies, and who's willing to make a difference to the company's success by putting in the work themselves. You will be part of the IT strategy team, whose responsibilities range from establishing the IT roadmap to selecting and implementing new software. You will be involved in multiple cross-functional projects where your role will be to transform business needs into IT requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in an IT Strategy Business Analyst role
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in French and in English
Ability to synthetize complex ideas into well-defined requirements
Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Database systems

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with IT software implementation is an asset
Previous experience in retail is an asset

Responsibilities

Support all departments to define and refine their needs in terms of distinct IT requirements
Work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to select and implement new software products
Manage several projects simultaneously, whether large or small, and coordinate progress between all parties involved
Participate in the functional analysis and implementation of new software
Prepare detailed test cases based on functional requirements
Assist in the testing of implemented solutions
Research potential new solutions to meet business needs
Carry out gap analysis between new solutions and those already implemented
