About The Position

The Business Analyst – Supply Chain Planning plays a key role in transforming the supply chain planning and optimization processes (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization), and ensuring seamless integration with other functional areas, first as a key player for of the initial implementation of SAP IBP, then to support Groupe Touchette’s continuous improvement efforts. The Business Analyst – Supply Chain Planning partners with the business operations teams to define and refine requirements, carries out gap analysis against processes and tools, and works with transformation and IT to define and implement business and technology solutions. This role contributes to the long-term sustainability of business transformation by ensuring that solutions include appropriate monitoring and controls. Positioned at the intersection of business operations, transformation (process & change), and IT, this role is critical to enabling long-term supply chain transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, industrial engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a supply chain environment, or in a supply chain planning role
  • Experience with an established supply chain planning suite (JDA/Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, OMP, SAP APO/IBP)
  • Experience in complex environments (distribution, logistics, retail, manufacturing)
  • Solid understanding of supply chain planning processes and their data dependencies
  • Comfortable with handling and analyzing large transactional and master data sets
  • Strong attention to detail, rigor, and critical thinking
  • Autonomous, curious, and continuous improvement mindset
  • Collaboration and coaching approach
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is mandatory

  • Additional planning-related training (CPIM, CSCP, IBF) an asset

Responsibilities

  • Key point of contact for everything related to supply chain planning processes, and how they are carried out in SAP IBP
  • Capture business requirements, while challenging the status quo and influencing the to-be outlook – define what good looks like
  • Document new and updates to existing processes – including business process flows and RACIs
  • Identify gaps between to-be and current processes and tools to define development and training needs
  • Support super users in identifying and analyzing recurring issues related to data and process flows
  • Perform root cause analysis across processes, data, and user practices
  • Recommend and implement improvements to stabilize execution and reduce manual interventions
  • Define and implement KPIs, reports, and alerts to monitor process and data health
  • Contribute to operational routines ensuring processes remain under control over time
  • Contribute to SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA initiatives from a process, transaction, and data perspective
  • Act as a bridge between business operations teams, transformation (process/change), and IT
  • Ensure solutions are practical, robust, and aligned with operational realities
