About The Position

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is a global leader in aerospace innovation. The company is seeking a Business Process Analyst to support the evolution of its Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform. This role is within the PLM Transformation and Governance team and requires a customer-oriented individual with experience in business process definition and requirements, who thrives in a dynamic team environment. The PLM platform is a key asset for managing gas turbine engines and is undergoing updates to enhance capabilities and align with the company's vision of a 'Model Based Enterprise' (MBE).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent market experience.
  • Field of study: Aeronautics, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Industrial, Logistic, Operations and Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Logistic Management, Computer Science.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Resourceful, takes initiative, and is a team player.
  • Good business sense.
  • Good technical and product knowledge (engines).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with customer support, troubleshooting, and communication back to the customer.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite (or equivalent software).
  • Very good knowledge of English (reading, understanding documentation and technical terms, writing and communicating with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues).
  • Must complete a criminal background check and obtain necessary clearances for handling controlled goods.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ENOVIA, 3DExperience, CATIA, VPM, JIRA, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Provide PLM processes agreed upon with different business organizations.
  • Understand current platform functionalities and future potential of the Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience suite.
  • Become the subject matter expert for PLM processes, including Engineering and EPLM for parts and assemblies definition, 3D modeling, change management, and supporting procedures.
  • Support experienced user forums and business unit leaders to gather requirements for new solutions or improvements.
  • Act as a transformation agent to influence business process improvements towards the PLM/MBE vision.
  • Document and execute test plans, identify testing issues, and participate in troubleshooting.
  • Prepare and present training material with the help of the PLM training lead.
  • Prepare communication material for intranet, Teams, and email with the help of the PLM communication lead.
  • Provide support to PLM users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Utilize project management skills, make decisions considering risks, and communicate at various levels.
  • Integrate new or improved PLM processes with other enterprise processes such as document management, project management, technical instructions, and product design/configuration/manufacturing management.
  • Collaborate with Digital Technology (DT) solutions teams and developers to test and implement solutions in production.
