About The Position

BMI (Based in Toronto) builds cutting-edge wireless infrastructure for enterprises and industrial clients — including AI-powered 5G, Open RAN systems, and Wi-Fi 7 solutions. Our mission is to make networks more open, intelligent, and cost-effective. You will be the technical bridge between BMI and the enterprise customer — owning onboarding, IT integration, and Tier 2/3 support across the full deployment lifecycle. You will work directly with customer IT architects, navigate complex multi-vendor environments, and hold the technical relationship from go-live through steady-state operations. Travel for this role will be required ~30% of the time.

Requirements

  • Core IP networking: VLANs, routing, NAT, firewall ACLs, DNS/DHCP, Linux CLI (Essential)
  • Enterprise Wi-Fi: 802.1X/RADIUS, EAP-TLS, WPA2/WPA3, MDM cert-based onboarding (Essential)
  • Kubernetes: kubectl, Helm, log retrieval, pod/service inspection (Required)
  • PKI: certificate chains, TLS, HashiCorp Vault, Microsoft Cloud PKI (Required)
  • 5G/cellular: SIM, IMSI, APN, Open5GS or Free5GC familiarity (Training can be provided)
  • Clear technical communication — customer-facing docs and architecture calls with enterprise IT
  • Key skills needed are depth in enterprise networking, Wi-Fi, and Kubernetes
  • A minimum of 5 Years of IT integration experience is required

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end customer onboarding: SIM provisioning, DNN/APN config, VLAN/IP planning, RADIUS and MDM integration (Intune/Jamf)
  • Integrate infrastructure into customer LAN, Active Directory/Entra ID, firewall, and PKI environments
  • Own escalated Tier 2/3 support — triage across Kubernetes pods, 5G NFs and WIFI components logs
  • Commission P5G and APs at customer sites
  • Produce integration docs, IP plans, and runbooks; train customer IT staff on custom client portal
