Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an IT Security Operations Manager in Glens Falls, NY. This is a direct-hire, 100% onsite position offering $90K–$100K + potential bonus, with excellent benefits including a pension, 401(k), employee stock ownership, and tuition reimbursement. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
Strong analytical, communication, project management, and leadership skills
Experience managing enterprise security technologies and security operations programs
Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 security

Nice To Haves

2+ years of supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee daily security operations
Lead a team of security professionals
Help maintain a strong enterprise security posture
Manage security monitoring and incident response
Manage vulnerability management
Manage threat hunting
Manage security reporting
Manage cybersecurity initiatives
Leading and developing a Security Operations team
Managing enterprise security tools including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and DLP
Incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring
Cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance, including NIST, CIS, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOX
Working across infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams
