About The Position

This role is fully located in the Oklahoma City offices. The IT Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer systems infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices. This position involves monitoring and maintaining system security to protect against unauthorized access, troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues, and providing support to end-users. The role also includes creating and maintaining system documentation and diagrams, collaborating with IT team members, and developing disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies. Staying current with emerging technologies and trends in system engineering is also a key aspect of this position. The role is safety sensitive and involves driving.

Requirements

  • 5+ years SOC experience required.
  • One relevant certification such as CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) required or obtain within six months of employment.
  • Expert knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows and Linux.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Expertise in system monitoring tools, such as WireShark and Zabbix.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
