About The Position

The IT SAP QM Analyst supports business requirements analysis, documentation, testing, solution design, SAP Quality Management (QM) configuration, user communication and training, and system development and support. The role works under guidance, assisting senior analysts and learning Woodward’s business processes, SAP systems, and development lifecycle practices. It helps ensure platform configurations and processes meet business needs and that end users receive support with platform-related issues. The position requires U.S. Person status under ITAR/EAR, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations. Woodward states that compensation depends on factors including education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity. The estimated annual base-pay range is $76,000 to $122,000, with a midpoint of $99,000.

Requirements

U.S. Person within the meaning of ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or U.S. Department of Commerce.
Ability to identify and document issues and learn root-cause analysis techniques.
Awareness of core business processes such as engineering, procurement, sales, finance, manufacturing, and HR.
Ability to document existing processes using basic tools and learn business process modeling standards.
Ability to maintain basic documentation and learn traceability techniques.
Ability to assist in gathering and documenting basic requirements with guidance and learn to conduct stakeholder interviews.
Ability to participate in design sessions and understand solution components and constraints.
Clear communication with users and team members, with an ability to learn to tailor messages to different audiences.
Foundational understanding of enterprise systems, including SAP S/4HANA; ability to navigate SAP systems and perform basic configurations.
Familiarity with SAP QM modules and willingness to learn data structures, system navigation, and integration concepts.
Basic ability to configure enterprise solution settings under guidance.
Ability to write and execute test scenarios and test cases and support UAT and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements under supervision, including participating in stakeholder interviews.
Create and maintain documentation for platform configurations, processes, and procedures.
Assist in writing test cases and executing test plans, including system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Support solution design by documenting workflows and participating in design sessions.
Support senior analysts in configuring SAP QM modules to meet business requirements.
Communicate system changes to users with guidance, assist with training sessions, and gather user feedback.
Assist in testing and deploying software, tracking bugs, and performing basic troubleshooting.
Help resolve basic platform-related issues for end users and support smooth system operation.
Manage assigned tasks and deadlines, collaborate with team members, and follow up on assigned items.
