About The Position

This Analyst supports enterprise SAP solutions at Honda Aircraft Company and serves as the functional lead and subject matter expert for SAP Quality Management (QM) and Production Planning (PP). The role ensures seamless integration across modules and delivers scalable business solutions aligned with operational goals. It combines hands-on PP/QM configuration, functional leadership, integration ownership, implementation and support, and stakeholder leadership. The analyst works with stakeholders to understand SAP QM and PP business processes and requirements, conducts workshops and blueprinting sessions, and leads user acceptance testing and post-go-live support for projects and enhancements. The role configures and enhances SAP PP and QM, supports the Manufacturing Execution System, maintains integration with other SAP modules, and collaborates with internal teams, external vendors, and ABAP developers on rollouts and custom solutions. This is an onsite position. One remote workday per week may be possible with prior departmental approval.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/IT, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Data Analysis/Statistics, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
At least 5 years of demonstrable experience with SAP QM and PP; experience with other modules is a plus.
At least 5 years of project management experience, leading teams, and building cross-organizational relationships.
Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations and post-go-live support.
Proven leadership managing onshore/offshore teams and cross-functional collaboration.
Deep functional expertise in SAP QM and PP modules.
Effective communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Business or IT experience and a strong understanding of project management principles.
Knowledge of SAP processes and applications.
Understanding of Quality, Incident Management, and Problem Management.
Experience coaching and mentoring.
Business case analysis, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Strong written and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

Understanding of Honda IT Project Management Methodology.

Responsibilities

Meet with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements for SAP QM and PP.
Conduct workshops and blueprinting sessions to align SAP solutions with business goals.
Lead user acceptance testing and provide post-go-live support for projects and enhancements.
Configure SAP PP and QM for production planning, quality inspections, quality notifications, and compliance processes.
Design and implement quality notification types, including additional catalogues and code groups, and maintain routing of follow-up tasks.
Configure SAP PP components, including Material Master, Work Center, Demand Management, MRP, and Production Orders.
Provide support for the Manufacturing Execution System.
Ensure integration between PP, QM, and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and FICO.
Partner with internal teams and external vendors on SAP rollouts and post-go-live improvements.
Collaborate with ABAP developers to implement custom solutions and enhancements.
Lead functional work and support cross-functional collaboration, including management of onshore and offshore teams.
