About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives across Finance, Capital Markets, Banking, and Enterprise Technology domains. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of strategic business and technology projects, partnering closely with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, vendors, and executive leadership within a financial services environment. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
10 years of experience leading complex technology initiatives across Finance, Capital Markets, Banking, and/or Enterprise Technology domains
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow/SPM, and Confluence
Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource plans, and success criteria
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities
Manage multiple concurrent projects and programs while balancing priorities and business objectives
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational governance standards
Partner with business sponsors, product owners, finance teams, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders to define business requirements and strategic objectives
Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, status reviews, and executive presentations
Provide regular project status updates, risk assessments, and escalation reports to senior management
Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to prioritize requirements and manage product roadmaps
Support Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies
Identify project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, security, and governance requirements
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
Coordinate with software vendors, implementation partners, and third-party service providers
