About The Position
Experienced IT Project Managers lead and support enterprise software implementations, SaaS deployments, system integrations, and business process improvement initiatives in public-sector enterprise application environments. The role involves managing project scope, schedules, budgets, vendors, stakeholders, risks, and implementation activities in complex organizational environments. Project teams are coordinated across the complete software implementation lifecycle, from planning and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant project management experience, including implementation of a variety of software systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise applications, SaaS implementations, system integrations, or complex business systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining project plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and project status reports.
- Strong understanding of standard IT project management practices and methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with business users, technical teams, vendors, executive sponsors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience supporting the complete software implementation lifecycle.

- Prosci Change Management Certification or comparable project management certifications.
- Experience with public-sector, county, state, or local government IT projects.

- Experience in Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management environments.
- Experience with multi-vendor implementations and cross-department stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project teams through planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Develop, maintain, and update project plans, including 90-day rolling schedules and executive dashboards.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with software vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Oversee system configurations, integrations, data migration, validation, and testing activities.
- Maintain risk and issue logs, develop mitigation strategies, and manage escalations.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training, change management, and organizational readiness.
- Review vendor deliverables, project documentation, and change requests.
- Support cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Prepare status reports, executive updates, governance documents, and project performance dashboards.
