About The Position

We are seeking an IT Programmer Analyst to develop interactive database applications designed for a variety of users to improve productivity. This role involves writing, developing, debugging, diagramming, coding, and documenting programs. The successful candidate will provide support and training to in-house personnel, research, analyze, develop, and maintain Trident and peripherals, and test their own projects and those of other PCA developers. Responsibilities also include upgrading applications with new releases and patches, working closely with corporate to install new systems and coordinate changes, taking ownership and providing support on local IT systems and programs, assisting with capital project requests and management, supporting users and troubleshooting on all mill systems, complying with document requests for various audits, assisting with hardware issues, and performing various tasks as needed to support millwide IT operations. This position is on-site and is not remote or hybrid.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field of study, training, and experience
  • Experience with VB.net/C#
  • .NET framework 4+
  • Source control (preferably Git)
  • Winforms
  • SQL server database 2017+ (writing SQL queries, creating stored procedures/functions/views)
  • Experience in .NET and SQL is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and computer skills
  • Capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem-solving and detailed requirements-gathering
  • Capable of working with ambiguity and change

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years of experience in Windows desktop development (Windows Forms/WPF)
  • Supporting/communicating/Interfacing to control networks/PLC’s (PI-OPCDA, PI-OPCHA, PI-OPCUA)
  • Software/application development using various development kits/tools (PI-OLE, PI-SDK or PIAFSDK)
  • OSI PI Data Historian management (point creation, interface configuration/support, user access control, and system installation, administration, and support)

Responsibilities
