About The Position

The IT Program Coordinator is responsible for providing support to strategic IT programs and the IT management team at Golden 1 Credit Union. The role contributes to the IT project portfolio to ensure effective coordination and reporting across IT and the entire company as required. The IT Program Coordinator requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects. The IT Coordinator will be responsible for working with and collaborating cross-functionally with Enterprise Applications, Digital, Security, Technology, Infrastructure, Facilities, Planning and Governance. The role will be coordinating schedules and meetings, organizing office activities and events, managing department projects, collecting reports, and coordinating departmental communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an administrative role.

  • Knowledge of computer systems and software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot computer issues.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.

  • Occasional travel may be required locally, statewide, and throughout the United States to attend seminars and vendor group meetings. Overnight travel and evening schedules included.

Nice To Haves

  • Holds or is working toward one or more of the following: CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT or GRCP.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and (PfMP) certifications from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) preferable, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IT Leadership program and project activities and meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and organizing all necessary materials.
  • Assist and coordinate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, and priorities.
  • Assure and implement a strong commitment to customer service; monitor and manage departmental customer satisfaction.
  • Manage small department projects, including coordinating timelines, compiling information, and preparing reports.
  • Participate in committees and work groups; may lead or participate in planning or focus groups; may represent the department; maintain a variety of records and technical data.
  • Collect and distribute reports from IT Vice Presidents, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate departmental communication, including emails, memos, and other correspondence.
  • Create and maintain program records, monthly board reports, presentations, and proposals.
  • Review programming, systems development and systems enhancement plans, work orders, review new and proposed laws, regulations, codes, methods, materials, and technique for application to projects.
  • Identifies IT service improvement opportunities, researches and assists in developing tools to improve IT products and services.
  • Evaluates priorities and coordinates resources by deploying technical staff to address customer issues.
  • Gathers and coordinates the dissemination of reporting analytics, like department and employee surveys.
  • Assist with other ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
