About The Position

Apogee Integration is seeking a contracts specialist supporting the procurement and administration of IT, cloud, and telecommunications contracts for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). The NRO is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America’s intelligence satellites. The specialist will review technical requirements, statements of work (SOWs), and vendor proposals for technologies such as IP Address Management (IPAM), networking, cloud infrastructure, DNS/DHCP services, and cybersecurity solutions to ensure contractual compliance and alignment with organizational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–7+ years of experience in federal, commercial, or DoD contracting, procurement, or acquisition.
  • Experience supporting IT, telecommunications, cloud, or technology-related procurements.
  • Knowledge of the federal acquisition process and applicable regulations (e.g., FAR/DFARS), if supporting government contracts.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing solicitations, statements of work (SOWs), contract modifications, and purchase orders.
  • Ability to evaluate vendor proposals, pricing, technical documentation, and contract compliance.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior NRO experience
  • Experience procuring enterprise networking, cloud, or cybersecurity solutions.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, including: IP Address Management (IPAM), DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP, Routers, switches, and firewalls, Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Experience with IT asset management or software licensing.
  • Professional certification such as: NCMA Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred), CompTIA Network+ (helpful but not typically required)
  • Working understanding of: Enterprise networking concepts, IPAM solutions (e.g., Infoblox or BlueCat), Cloud infrastructure and telecommunications services, Cybersecurity terminology and IT procurement best practices
