About The Position

This position focuses on IT Portfolio Management, requiring the analysis of IT programs, capabilities, and services. The role involves supporting strategic planning, making recommendations for decision-making, and communicating technical information to non-technical senior audiences. The analyst will assist government clients with programmatic goals, schedules, and reporting, requiring extensive collaboration across multiple entities, including international partners.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
  • BS degree and 12 to 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 to 13 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Strong writing and grammatical skills.
  • Knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management discipline.
  • Familiarity with planning, programming, budgeting, and execution discipline.
  • Knowledge of key performance indicators.
  • Strong analytical competence, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
  • Provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with seniors in diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment managing competing priorities.
  • Ability to produce deliverables in multiple formats as needed (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to take charge of a group and set strategic guidance for a team of SMEs.
  • Ability to track upcoming deliverables and ensure team assignments are adequate to ensure all work is delivered on time.
  • Ability to ensure the customer is kept on track and aware of all upcoming deadlines.
  • Ability to proactively prepare talking points and summaries to ensure the customers are well prepared for upcoming events.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze the IT portfolio of programs and their associated capabilities and Services.
  • Support the evolution of the Sponsor’s strategic direction and priorities.
  • Make recommendations to aid sponsor decision-making, including proposed strategies and/or roadmaps; identified risks, capability and performance gaps, and dependencies; alignment with the strategic framework and priorities; and funding and related program issues.
  • Assist government clients with programmatic goals and objectives, schedules, and reports to senior-level executives.
  • Communicate technical topics in a non-technical manner to senior-level audiences.
  • Collaborate across multiple entities and with partners outside the US.
  • Draft products that reflect strong writing and grammatical skills.
  • Provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Work with seniors in a diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment managing competing priorities.
