About The Position

The IT Planning & Governance role establishes secure, reliable, and business-aligned technology capabilities for HPLS. This position requires independent ownership of assigned work and collaboration across HPLS functions and external partners to deliver safe, compliant, timely, and sustainable results during project execution and ongoing operations. The role is responsible for IT planning, governance, budgeting, and vendor management for HPLS, serving as the primary IT counterpart between HPLS and headquarters to align local initiatives with corporate standards. It supports the establishment of the HPLS IT organization and coordinates IT projects, service providers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Professional working proficiency in both English and Korean is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience; level and scope will be calibrated to demonstrated capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, analyze information, document work, and collaborate across functions.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 and job-relevant enterprise or technical systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English and work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Nice To Haves

  • IT experience in manufacturing, industrial construction, or greenfield startup environments.
  • Experience with ITIL, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, project management, ERP, MES, OT/IT integration, or managed services.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, Cisco, SAP, or cloud credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute IT roadmaps, budgets, policies, standards, service processes, and operational readiness plans.
  • Coordinate infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, manufacturing systems, end-user services, and vendors.
  • Manage projects, changes, incidents, problems, assets, licenses, service levels, risks, and audit actions.
  • Translate business and plant requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with corporate architecture and security standards.
  • Monitor service performance, capacity, availability, security, cost, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain current procedures, system inventories, contracts, architecture records, and disaster-recovery documentation.
