About The Position

Hollywood Park is in search of a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the heart of the sports and entertainment industry. As an IT Operations Intern, you can expect to provide exceptional support and customer services to Hollywood Park’s end users. Learn technical systems and networking tasks and troubleshooting steps. Participate in cybersecurity initiatives, such as reviewing alerts, analyzing and fine-tuning preventative controls, threat detection and incident response maturity, to help safeguard Hollywood Park's digital assets. As well as gain valuable, real-world experience in the sports and entertainment industry. Interns will gain firsthand experience in areas such as technical troubleshooting, event support, and cybersecurity practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program as a junior, senior, recently graduated, or master’s degree student
• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or similar area of study
• Must be able to travel to the YouTube Theater and SoFi Stadium offices in Inglewood, CA at least 2-3 times per week

Responsibilities

• Provide tier one triage and support for Hollywood Park employees
• Maintain IT inventory of both hardware and software. Process new and returned equipment dealing with repairs and imaging.
• Learn event and gameday technologies, processes and setup
• Support Incident Response Efforts and Cybersecurity alert mitigation.
• Contribute to Cybersecurity Initiatives, review overall posture and discuss ideas with cybersecurity team
