IT Operations Intern (Green Bay, WI)
About The Position
The IT Operations Intern is responsible for supporting the IT Operations department, primarily working with the Desktop Support team under the Senior IT Technical Support Manager. The role involves a variety of tasks, including installing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and software, assisting with network gear and physical security systems, and supporting Cellcom’s Summer Celebration Events by managing IT equipment. Interns will gain hands-on experience with multiple IT teams, making it an excellent opportunity for students pursuing an IT degree who have experience working in LAN/WAN environments and basic software installation skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
- Practical experience working in a LAN/WAN environment is desirable.
- Experience installing and removing software on desktop or laptop computers.
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints and troubleshoot IT issues.

Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and dispose of computer hardware and software.
- Assist in replacing network gear, wiring, and physical security systems like cameras and card access systems.
- Support the set up, maintenance, and take down of IT equipment for Cellcom's Summer Celebration Events.
- Provide customer service by resolving help desk requests and keeping users informed of progress.
- Train users on technology best practices and perform additional related duties as assigned.
